For the 2008-2009 school year our cafeteria will still be serving a hot, well-balanced lunch (including milk) each school day. This government approved Type A lunch means that students buying lunch will be required to take every item served on the tray.

Students will be encouraged to try all food items served. With the help of their parents, children can decide to pack OR buy meals by checking the monthly Menu Calendar ahead of time. In serving Type A lunches, we cannot honor special diets or seasonal requests. THEREFORE. IT IS MOST IMPORTANT TO CHECK MENUS AND MAKE SURE TO PACK A LUNCH ON DAYS UNWANTED  FOODS ARE SERVED.

Students who are allergic to milk, peanut butter or seafood are required to forward to the school office a letter from their doctor stating that fact and setting forth what type of beverage may be substituted.

The $ 26. family cafeteria fee, paid at registration, covers salaries, updating equipment and surplus goods. Families with a Kindergarten student only will not pay a cafeteria fee since milk/snack time has been eliminated.
